01. Challenge
Flash back to summer 2024, when new Gen AI models were rapidly coming online. Our client’s communications team needed to understand the implications and applications of these new platforms, what it meant for their team’s workflows and how they might incorporate new ways of working using our secure Halo environment to gather better insights and inform communications decision-making.

03. Solution & Impact
The I/O team developed three primary workstreams to help our global CPG clients accelerate their Gen AI journey:
- Immersion and application: Bespoke Gen AI immersion sessions identified and activated practical Gen AI platforms (ChatGPT, TWSC Halo) to generate new insights, new perspectives and new ways to create content for the client’s corporate and brand communications programs.
- Simulated agents strategy: We identified, built and refined 10 distinct stakeholder audience agents to support advanced communications planning and impact analysis. Agent development incorporated demographic and psychographic data from all aspects of our CPG client’s marketing and communications programming, including first-party research, advertising, social media and call center transcripts.
- Gen AI-Enhanced Scenario Planning: Bringing together communications strategies, real-world context (geopolitical, cultural and media trends) and simulated perspectives—we helped our client transform communications planning to become more predictive, identify risks and iteratively personalize content for its stakeholders.
